Open Art Exhibition
Open Art Exhibition 2017
Pelham House’s annual Open Art Exhibition is a great opportunity to see a wide range of Sussex artists exhibit their work in aid of children’s charity, Rockinghorse. Last year, we raised over £300 for this worthy cause.
The Open Exhibition is a chance to come across the new and unexpected with more than half of the artists exhibiting with us for the first time. Over forty artists will show their work, which was selected by the hotel’s art curator with help from staff at the hotel who choose their own favourites. The exhibition will display work from established painters and newly emerging artists, using a range of materials, including oils, acrylics, photography, collage and lino print.
We are delighted to show work by the following artists:
Daria Arta, Angela Baker, Jennifer Bisset, Becky Blair, Abigail Bowen, Peter Bushell, Nichola Campbell, Diana Costin, Paul Cox, Clare Dales, Lindy Dunbar, Anouk Emanuel, Gail Gibson Tait, Leila Godden, Patrick Goff, Ian Goldsmith, Stephanie Grainger, Katy Griffiths, Simon Griffiths, Axel Hesslenberg, Christa Hook, Rosemary Jones, Mary Lowerson, Diana Ludwick, Susan Lynch, Marion McConaghie, Susie Monnington, Carlina Oliver, Katy Oxborrow, Adrian Parnell, Agata Read, Graham Read, Sarah Rigler, Simone Riley, Orna Schneerson, Janice Thurston, Samantha Tuffnell, Alex Vigay, Jane Wateridge, Tasmin Williams, Barry Wilson.
The exhibition will be open every day from 9 am to 9pm from Wednesday 18 January to Tuesday 28 February 2017. The exhibition is free with full disabled access. The artwork will be on display in the hotel’s reception, bar, atrium and garden room. All the art is for sale and can be purchased via reception and collected at the end of the exhibition.
