Farley Farm House

In 1949 Surrealists Lee Miller (photographer) and Roland Penrose (artist) moved to Farley Farm House in Sussex and for the next 35 years built up a collection of contemporary art treasures, many of which were created by their friends and visitors including Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Max Ernst, Paul Éluard and Joan Miró. The work of these and numerous other artists are exhibited in the house alongside those by Penrose and Miller. Visitors are invited to join a 50 minute guided tour of the key rooms of the farm house where Miller and Penrose lived, worked and entertained their friends.
